Kentucky - The Casino Battlefield

Although it is also famous for being home to the U.S. Treasury Gold Vault at Fort Knox, places like Lexington in Kentucky proudly bare the name of Horse Capital of the World. And with more than four hundred and fifty horse farms in the Lexington area alone, Kentucky has enjoyed a history with horse racing that has been passed down for many generations.

A Glamorous Experience at Royal Ascot

Queen Anne founded the Ascot Racecourse in 1711. Since that time it has become a symbol of style and status across the world. Located a mere six miles away from Windsor Castle, the Ascot has remained synonymous with the royal family. The Her Majesty’s Plate was the first thoroughbred race to take place here. From 1945, more racing events were added to the calendar, and from 1965, hurdles and steeplechase races were being run at Ascot Racecourse. But it is the Royal Ascot racing meet that is still seen as one of the premier events in England.
