The Deutschland-Preis is a prestigious Group 1 event on the racing calendar for Germany, and will once again be hosted by the Dusseldorf Racecourse on 19 July 2009. It is an event for three year old horses and over, and all the top German older horses usually enter this event. Run over a distance of 2 400 meters and with a purse of $245 000, the Deutschland-Preis is an action guaranteed event.
