It does not matter where in the world you live; you can join Stanton, New York in celebrating a memorable horse racing achievement by one of the city’s 90-year old residents. Carl Hanford, who trained the legendary Kelso, and who has been associated with horse racing since the 1930s, has been elected to the National Museum of Racing’s Hall of Fame. Hanford started his horse racing career as a jockey and moved on to life as a trainer later. I am sure that all forum members will join me in felicitating the redoubtable Carl Hanford. :p
