I wish that the British Horse Racing Regulatory Authority summarily rejects trainer David Flood’s appeal against suspension. There is no doubt that Mossmann Gorge was given a phenylbutazone injection just before the New Market race last February, and someone has to accept blame. We may not always be fortunate enough to find out by such surreptitious techniques, but severe retribution is in order when we do uncover every case of cheating. This is the bane of horse racing, and the sport will continue to lose popular support, especially by punters, if it does not act adequately and in time. :p
