Since jockeys have short and rather dangerous careers, I feel that they should be allowed to display advertising on their clothing. I have read that Kentucky has placed tight restrictions on this, and feel that such action by a leading horse racing center can instigate others to follow this pernicious practice. I cannot see how advertising on jockey clothing can affect their race performance in any way. Why get in the way of their earning extra cash for all the efforts they make for the enjoyment of punters and spectators? It is ionic that such restrictions should emanate from the declared home of free enterprise.:eek:
