I have read that evening horse racing is being brought forward by an hour to 6 p.m. with concerts to follow: what a wonderful idea! I wish that other race tracks and cities would follow this example, for free time during the week is at such a premium. 6 in the evening is just right on a Friday evening for it really leaves time for other recreation as a grand start to each week end. Many of us have been restricted to horse racing on Sunday afternoons, and this small but significant concession by race track authorities really goes a long distance!:o
