Hickory Lane Horse Farm is a standardbred breeding facility located in Ohio. You can find it just east of Findlay off interstate 75. Hickory Lane Farms has enjoyed its strategic location for years and today it is the only major standardbred breeding facility in the area. It has been the birthplace of a number of multiple stake winners and is currently the home of a number of outstanding stallions. Hickory Lane combines the best of technology, knowledge and services to provide the best breeding facility possible.
The farm is a fairly large facility which encompasses ten buildings and plenty of pasturage. Included in this are two houses, a maintenance building, four broodmare barns, one stallion barn, a blacksmith shop and an all-weather ½-mile training track. The stallions currently standing at Hickory land include Dawn of a New Day, Pegasus Spur, Precious Bunny, Threefold and Stand Forever. Besides having such excellent sires in stud, Hickory Land has top-notch breeding facilities which incorporate all aspects of semen transportation and insemination. When you combine this fact with the novelty of having the University of Findlay Equine Veterninarian facility only ten minutes away, you’ll understand that Hickory Lane is more than just a breeding facility. The farm has surgical facilities for the University and a number of board-certified surgeons on staff so you can be assured that horses at Hickory Lane enjoy the best medical care possible.
Hickory Lane also has a great staff who pride themselves on careful, conscientious care for every single horse on an individual level. Their high level of knowledge and professionalism have gone a long way to making Hickory Farm what it is today.
