My granparents owned and trained thourobread's ..I spent my summers groing up at the track's from turf paradise Az. up to cor D' elaine Id. Without a doubt Ferndale's "Bullring" was my favorite. The ,scenery ,the victorian biulding's,the cemetary that climb's into the fog. Most of all the people I was 15 in 1982 I was Luck'y enough to make friend's with a kid named "Guy" wich is my last name .He gave me Pretzel's from his cart and I got Jocky's to place bet's for us We became good pal's .Our horse won the madomoselle stakes race and Guy joined us in the winner's circle. He is famous now,I'm more infamous. That Win Picture was destroyed..Wondering how a "Guy" could find old win pic's from ferndale..sure would Love to Have a copy Gram n' Gramp are gone n that was my proudest day at the fair race circuits.
