6.8.11 City Broad Race.avi

City Broad closed for 2nd in a very fast 5th race at Hot Belmont Park on June 8th. She broke well, settled off the leaders and let the speed go out. The problem: the speed just kept going and going and going! The race went in 1.08:40, less than a second off the Track record of 1.07:66 set by Champion sprinter Artax! CB closed and got up for 2nd just nosing out her stable mate. I guess we had more stones! CB came out of the race fine.
