Cherokee's Goal - Gold Cup (Assiniboia Downs - Winnipeg 2010)

Earlier in the year, 3-year-old colt Cherokee's Goal ran second in the Manitoba Derby and later won the Saskatchewan Derby at Marquis Downs. Taking on the best older horses on the grounds at ASD in the $72500 Gold Cup including multiple stakes winner Double Shuffle, Cherokee's Goal blew by everyone down the stretch and showed he should be considered for 3-year-old of the year and maybe even horse of the year in Manitoba.
