On a rainy Labour Day, Sept 6 2010, on a sloppy racetrack, at Vancouver BC's Hastings Park, #1 Wind Storm (5-1), closes strongly to win this mile & a sixteenth race, over 19-1 longshot #6 PS Touch Down, for a $138 exacta. These were fillies & mares running for optional claiming tags of 50K. Purse: just $22600. Trained by the veteran Dave Forster, Wind Storm, 6 yrs old, won her 11th race from 24 career starts.
