Racing Report from Hialeah Park: April 15, 2001 (Part 2)

Here are races 7-11 from the April 15, 2001 (Easter Sunday) card at Hialeah Park. Frank Mirahmadi hosts the replay show and calls the races. The featured race was the $75000 Seminole Handicap, won by Fappie's Notebook with Abdiel Toribio for trainer Emanuel Tortora. Marge and Irving Cowan owned the 4-year-old homebred, who earned his first stakes victory in the Seminole and would go on to win the 2001 Smile Sprint Handicap and 2002 Grade 3 Deputy Minster Handicap. Other highlights include an advertisement for Fantasy Lane Stable and the winning (via disqualification) debut of What a Price.
