I am riding my new trainer's horse since Boomer is out for the season due to his hock injury...I came home with reserved high point (: didnt think i was going to get anything this show.. Polo Wrapping 101 [03:52]
This is an instructional video of how I wrap polos on my horses. I know there are slightly different ways to do it, I am not in any way saying this is "right". However you wrap, make sure that you are good at it before you work your horse in them. It is not difficult to injure a horse with miswrapped polos. I like polos because they breathe and give an even pressure all around the leg. I do also have sport boots which I use occasionally (especially if I'm in a hurry) and I always finish off polos or boots with bell boots. If your skeptical about polos, wrap your own leg and run around...it really helps stablize! Any questions, just ask!
