Mikkel, Jonas and Me having some fun on the race line after vallåsen Dh challenge. Mikkels time in the race : 1.20,50 (5th place in youth-16 class) Jonas time in the race : 1.38,xx (14th place in youth-16 class) My time in the race : 1.17,11 ( 1st place in the youth-16 class) Mikkel is crashing right in front of me in the beginning :D we were SO tired ! so its was just some goofing around.

Chesterfield Races 1920s [04:48]
One of the last races on Whittington Moor before the Corporation bought the area form housing in 1924.. The races were held every year from about 1685 and were usually run the two days before Goodwood. After 1871 they were run as flapper races and not under the Jockey Club rules. The course ran down what is now Stand Road and down Pottery Lane. It then went where East Side is and on to Brimington Road North. The horses would continue adjacent to Sheffield Road and up where Racecourse Road is now to finish in front of the Grandstand which was close to the site of the present Cricketers Pub.
