2013-01-01 Clairwood - race 9 [01:19]
2013-01-01 Mrs. Oppenheimer's one-eyed 'Fire Curtain' fires off an impressive win in the 9th race at Clairwood Park. He's a horse with ability but with only one eye he tends to hang away from his blind side and is easily intimidated in the heat of the action. He's been terribly unlucky on many occasions but this time everything goes his way and he breezes in by 4

RTD 2nd in 9th @ The Spa 7 30 12 [01:47]
RTD ran like he was shot out of a cannon to hold on for 2nd in the 9th race today at The Spa! He broke sharp as he always does, took the overland route about 4 wide around the track and opened up a 3 length lead at the top of the stretch. Unfortunately the 6 horse - taking advantage of the front end speed (21,44,56) - closed to get the win.

Wholelottashakin ROCKS the 9th race on May 27th @ Belmont [08:03]
Wholelottashakin WON the 9th race on Sunday, May 27th at Beautiful Belmont Park. She broke sharp from the 5 hole with Javier, he put her in good position until about the 5/8ths pole where she almost ran up the leader's you know what... Javier had to jerk her head to get her to the outside - any other horse would have packed it in right there but she continued in stride. Javier saved ground behind the leaders, the favorite went wide and he went for the hole on the rail and the rest my friends, as they say, is history. She flew down the stretch and held off a repeated challenge from the fancy 4yo and prevailed under strong urging. She loves a little give in the ground and I think she likes the mile distance. Congratulations to all ~ certainly a nice way to celebrate the Holiday weekend!
