It looked like Bodemeister was going to win, but I'll Have Another managed to edge ahead at the end of the race The horse, with jockey Mario Gutierrez, went from 15-to-1 shot to Kentucky Derby winner two weeks ago. Now the three-year-old colt is the only competitor in the field with a chance to capture the sport's elusive Triple Crown. I'll Have Another became the first horse since 2008 to win the first two legs of the Triple Crown, edging Bodemeister again in a thrilling finish to the 137th running of the Preakness Stakes Saturday at sun-splashed Pimlico Race Course. O'Neill said prior to the race that what worked at 1¼ miles in a 20-horse field at Churchill Downs won't necessarily fly in the 13/16-mile middle leg of the Triple Crown, since Pimlico is known for its tight turns and speed-favoring surface. And it turned out to be a differeent race completely. O'Neill vowed to change instructions for 25-year-old upstart jockey Mario Gutierrez before the 11 starters go to the gate. It's Tricky - 2012 Distaff (G2) [01:46]
Godolphin Racing's It's Tricky ran her Aqueduct Racetrack record to a perfect 5-for-5 Saturday afternoon as she took the Grade 2, $200000 Distaff Handicap by 3 ½ lengths. Breaking sharply, It's Tricky was taken back slightly on the outside as Don'tbeshy I'll Buy led through an opening quarter-mile in 22.51, pressed closely by Nicole H, who took over to run a half in 45.13. Steadily encouraged by jockey Eddie Castro to remain in contention as the field turned for home, It's Tricky was put to a drive while racing three wide into the stretch and grabbed the lead with an eighth of a mile to go, drawing well clear in the final stages. It's Ticky's final time for seven furlongs was 1:22.39. Sent off as the 3-5 favorite and 123-pound highweight in the field of five, she returned $3.40 for a $2 win wager.

Garden State Park Racetrack [14:25]
I worked there from 1985 till they closed in 2001...I managed to um "borrow" a few VHS tapes from the steward's office after we closed and got some races (thanks Rob) transfered onto a disc and now they are posted on here...enjoy the memories had a great time working there and still miss the place today....more races on the way too...

Ghostzapper vs. Saint Liam - 2004 Woodward (G1) [02:11]
In winning six of his first eight career starts, Stronach Stable's Ghostzapper always had breathing room. Okay, there was that one race he won by a half-length, but other margins of his victories ranged from four and quarter to 10 and three-quarter lengths. He was obviously a good horse, but no one was really sure how tough he was. Saturday afternoon, 10251 Belmont Park fans got their answer. Sent off as the 2-5 post-time favorite, Ghostzapper dug in under jockey Javier Castellano after being forced to the middle of the track by Saint Liam, endured bumping and still managed to win the 51st running of the Grade 1, $500000 Woodward fro three-year-olds and up at nine furlongs -- the Opening Weekend feature of Belmont Park's Fall Championship Meet. Not only Ghostzapper he win in spite of not having everything go his way, his winning time of 1:46 1/5 rivaled that of Mineshaft last year and In Excess in the 1991 Woodward. Only Forego, who won the 1976 Woodward in 1:45 4/5 carrying 135 pounds, Dispersal, who carried 123 and won the 1990 Woodward in 1:45 4/5; and Precisionist, who won the 1986 Woodward in 1:46, have run this race faster. Precisionist, Mineshaft and Ghostzapper all carried 126 pounds in their Woodwards.

The Hennessy Gold Cup is a Grade 1 National Hunt chase in Ireland which is open to horses aged five years or older. It is run at Leopardstown over a distance of about 3 miles (4828 metres), and during its running there are seventeen fences to be jumped. Jockey Robbie Supple rode Nick the Brief to victory during the 1991 Hennessy Gold Cup thanks to the training expertise of John Upson.
