A day after Rachel Alexandra turned in a bullet four-furlong work at Saratoga's Oklahoma Training Track, her majority owner, Jess Jackson, announced that the reigning Horse of the Year had been retired from racing. "As you know, despite top training and a patient campaign, Rachel Alexandra did not return to her 2009 form," Jackson said. "I believe it's time to retire our champion and reward her with a less stressful life. We are delighted she will retire healthy and happy to our beautiful farm in Kentucky (Stonestreet Farm near Lexington).

I know this video is alittle late but mine that bird is a great horse and came in a good 2nd in the preakness stakes to the filly rachel alexandra and then came in 3rd in the belmont stakes to summer bird (his half brother) and dunkirk but one of his historic runs was the kentucky derby when he one being the 50-1 longshot!

***I OWN/CLAIM NOTHING*** Yay.. you get to watch 28 seconds of fail editing, an irritating song, and flashing colors. I'm such a kind person, aren't I? The point is... I want to enter this video contest.. anndd I need an effecty-ish video. And asking me to edit with effects is like asking me to jump off a cliff. But I was determined to enter, so I was like, "I'LL DO IT, EVEN IF MY EYES FALL OUT." Because the only effecty-effect that my old cheapy WMM has is color cycle. FAIL. EPIC FAIL. So.. I might finish this if I get around to it, but I'd really rather not. Enjoy this video, if humanly possible.
