Last Barrel race of the Winter series! [00:39]
My boy did awesome! I love him! I think we are understanding each other more and listening to each other more. But anyways, the race... of course it started raining hard before our real race, so that's why I took the turns wide. I wanted to be safe since a lot of the pro barrel racers were slipping and knocking barrels. I figured my greeny should take them a bit wide! haha! but we did a lot better then the other two races. We always have problems with the first because Diamond is a pretty "hot" horse, so he gets all worked up going to the first barrel and makes them really wide! We ran a 22 something! haha! but pretty good since I've only been training him on barrel for a few months. I love my greeny is worth everything we have to go through! ....tho... it would be nice if he was a little less hot..... hot! jk! He is the best horse ever!

Meanwhile Craig Williams was at Cranbourne this morning for track gallops aboard Crack A Roadie who was also confirmed in the Blue Diamond Stakes. Today early nominations were also announced for the Group 1 William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley on March 22 and included Black Caviar who notched up her 23rd victory at the weekend.
