NUMERO UNO x BERSTEIN x BURGGRAAF x AMOR KWPN 02.04840, 1.71m, bay, 2002 Breeder: MTS. Stultiens Van Gogh was the undisputed KWPN performance test champion of 2005. During the last 6 years no other KWPN stallion has received as many points as Van Gogh at his performance test. This son by Numero Uno was not only rewarded for his great jumping skills but also his fantastic movements. Take off and technique was rewarded with 8.5, scope with 9.0 and his incredible canter with 9.5. The stallion performance test report states that Van Gogh shows strong movements in walk, trot and canter, that he jumps with a good take-off and develops lots of scope. The dam line of Van Gogh originates at the mare Miesje. In addition to Van Gogh's successful full sisters, this breeding family produced several international showjumping and dressage horses. Some examples are: Zhivago (s. Krack C), Cocktail (s. Purioso), Everest (s. Zeoliet) and Der Senaat III (s. President). The vice champion of the 2007 KWPN stallion competition achieved great results during several competitions in both Germany and the Netherlands. The foals of Van Gogh have appealing conformation and excellent movements. At the 2007 KWPN foal competition in Zeeland Van Gogh was sire of the champion foal Celusiena. Pasterkamp, Den Ham & B.Winters, Ommen Solitair is a jumping talent with super movements and very appealing conformation. At his performance test in Ermelo he received an 8.5 for his canter and for walk, trot and talent, three 8.0's. His sire Voltaire (s. Furioso II) jumped internationally at the highest level with Jos Lansink and Emile Hendrix. In addition, Voltaire, who has more than thirty registered off spring in the Breeding Guide for international showjumping horses, belongs among the best stallions in the world. Solitair was bred out of Nigrante, a beautiful daughter of the legendary Holsteiner stallion Libero H. This mare not only received high recommendations by the KWPN approval committee but has also produced the International show jumper Triviant (David Quigley). Solitair's dam line carries a large amount of blood through the influential stallions Abgar xx and Pericles xx. LIBERO H x NIMMERDOR x MARCO POLO x POLARIS KWPN 01.10827, 1.67m, bay, 2001 Breeder: G. van der Veen, Ommeren Ustinov's great exterior and jumping qualities are deeply anchored in his pedigree. His sire is the showjumping horse producer Libero H, a legend in his lifetime. With Jos Lansink this son of Landgraf I won a respectable series of World Cup competitions and Grand Prix, the highlight being his fantastic victory of the 's-Hertogenbosch World Cup finals in 1994. His fighting spirit in combination with his jumping skills and incredible reflexes made the stallion almost unbeatable that season. In total Libero H has less than 600 registered offspring, more than 50 of these are or have been competing at 1.50m or higher in international showjumping. It is remarkable that many of his internationally successful offspring also carry the blood of Nimmerdor. Liberty, Coonawarra, Ikoon and Iowa are just a few examples. This fact makes Ustinov's pedigree even more interesting, as he also carries the blood of Nimmerdor on his dam's side. Ustinov has already successfully competed in international young horses competitions and left a great impression after presenting his first offspring in 2006. Haha, my editing doesn't do thirty seconds to mars' epicness justice but there you go xD So I watched Royal Ascot last week and really enjoyed it. I'm starting to really like flat racing but I still can't wait for the NH season to start properly again (even though it's like 5 months away). My favourite flat horses all won group 1 races at Ascot (Frankel, Canford Cliffs and Fame And Glory) who I have followed for the past couple of seasons, and how awesome was that race between So You Think and Rewilding? I was very pleased that Rewilding came out on top, as for some reason So You Think has never appealed to me that much, I don't know why aha. Enjoy :) Song~This Is War, by Thirty Seconds To Mars
