Canterbury Downs held a Quarter Horse race on the turf late in the 1991 season. Recently, Evangeline Downs ran the first quarter horse race on the turf in the history of Louisiana racing.

This is Ben's first race. Loved it. He is very easy to ride. I didn't know what to expect so I actually over rode him a little bit. But still very happy with it :)
