WSH/ St. John 4/28/12 & 4/29/12 [02:56]
READ READ READ So I took Tora to his first gaming show of the year, and he did AMAZING. I went in not expecting him to do more than a trot/lope through with all his patterns, but i let him go his own pace and he did great. Obviously the first barrel run we messed up, and it was my fault for going to fast. & unfortunately my camera died after my 2nd event haha but he ran all new PRs. he is definately going to be going to more gaming shows this year. Also i ran at St. John on sunday with apachce, and if it wasnt for our knock in key we would have won high point. oh well, he ran really good for me and had the fastest time in barrels by over a second. no complaints for his first show off of an injury as well as his first actual hard running show of the year. I love my boys.

update!! some clips are crap yeah, but HDDD it!!! i made this yesterday, in the meantime i got new clips. we're working a lot of flatwork, because we both suck at it. my trainer had me put the dressage whip on my back... as u see. we're making some serious progress my lesson today we got him even better at the flatwork. we're really learning a lot about each other. later in our lesson we took him outside to the jumping arena. we know he can jump and my trainer knows im getting bored of all the flatwork. she put the jump down so he can just get to see it. he took off and started galloping away from it, not naughty, but excited! so gonna jump him more. i got him to be really good about the jump at the end. we're really getting along well. I'll probably re do this later with more of a variety of clips, sorry it's sort of boring I just really badly wanted to post this. All clips are from the past weekend, I was busy all week/weekend with family dinners and Beverley had previously had 3? days off so she was just super stoked to be out and about! She gets a large grass field to herself but doesn't really do much playing out there, just stands and eats, so as soon as she is let loose in the arena she goes nuts! I seriously love this horse SO much. Beyond happy to have her in my life. She's seriously going to be with me for life, she's not going anywhere ;) I love free lunging her, like I honestly just can't take my eyes off her movement. gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. I honestly don't care what any body says about her, I've heard so much crap over the past year about how she's "dangerous", "not worth it", "will never be anything". I don't believe any of that. This mare proves those people wrong every single day, she is so amazing and will only get better.
