Olympic Opening Ceremony 1956 Stockholm Equestrian Games (Amateur Footage) [02:23]

At the 50th IOC Session in Athens on 13 May 1954, Stockholm was chosen to host the Equestrian Olympics over Paris, France; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Berlin, Germany; and Los Angeles, California, USA. Karin Lindberg and Henry Eriksson held lighted torches, ran towards the stadium tower with the torches and lit flames there. Sweden's Henri Saint Cyr recited the oath of the athletes while on his horse, and later won two gold medals in individual and team dressage. 3yo Filly By City Zip: NY Bred [02:39]
There are some nice horses out there that just look and act like athletes. They are born to run and destined to win. This filly looks and acts like one of those special horses. Her attitude is always 'on' and her favorite direction is moving forward. She is not a big filly, she's not over muscled or over weight, she is just right. She is very fast!
