Hoof Beats magazine visited the Iowa County Fair in Mineral Point, Wis., one of the stops on the Wisconsin Harness the Stars Tour. The Wisconsin horsemen were recently awarded the 2012 USTA Blue Ribbon Fair Award for outstanding promotion of county-fair harness racing, and were featured in the June 2012 issue of Hoof Beats magazine.

A popular winner of the day at Bonvilston pt to pt near Cardiff was 'Traditional Bells' who was ridden by Evan David to win the maiden . All the winners at Bonvilston receive a trophy of a fine art print by Eliza's artist partnwer David Dent. In addition there is a cup from the race sponsor; plus champagne. So even though it is an amateur sport; it is nice for the winner to have something by which to remember the day their horse won its first race....

John Henry was also listed as #23 - Top 100 US Racehorses of the 20th Century.
