No Such Word - The Gazelle (G1) [02:10]
No Such Word earned her first Grade 1 victory Saturday afternoon at Aqueduct Ractrack, edging clear to a 2 ½-length victory in the $250000 Gazelle, the final graded stakes race of the year for 3-year-old fillies in New York. Fanned four-wide down the backstretch as Awesome Maria led the field through a quarter in 24.60 and a half-mile in 49.90, No Such Word moved up to take the lead from the pacesetter in the stretch and complete the 1 1/8 miles in 1:51.05. It was the third consecutive stakes victory for the daughter of Canadian Frontier, who in her last outing took the October 10 Remington Park Oaks by 6 ½ lengths under a hand ride by regular jockey Terry Thompson. "We knew today she'd probably lay a little closer," Thompson said. "She puts herself where she wants to be. If there's pace in the race, she'll be off it, and if not, she'll be on it. [The Remington Park Oaks] was going to be our last race for the year [and] what people don't realize that I just let her gallop around there. That's why we pointed for this one. The next day she was tearing the barn down, and Cindy did a good job of getting her ready." No Such Word was the last planned starter for trainer Cindy Jones, who took over for husband Larry Jones when he decided to retire late last year. Earlier this month, Larry Jones announced he would return to training full-time. "That was the way we planned it, to win, absolutely!" said Cindy Jones. "She had been training so awesome into this race. It looked like ...

New York Watch: Parting Words [02:17]
Parting Words had something to say Sunday on the Aqueduct turf, coming from off the pace to break her maiden and join the New York Watch, which profiles up-and-comers that have recently cleared the maiden ranks at Aqueduct, Belmont Park, and Saratoga Race Course. Making her second start, Parting Words veered outward at the break, bumping a rival to her right. She settled into a clear spot in eighth and was kept outside by jockey Ramon Dominguez along the backstretch run, split horses while making smooth headway with two furlongs left, and grabbed the lead from runner-up Celestial Kitten at the sixteenth pole to prevail by a length. "She broke crooked and banged around with a couple of horses and they usually they don't overcome something that severe, but she overcame all that and showed a lot of class," said winning trainer Barclay Tagg. Parting Words, the 7-2 third choice, ran the 1 1/16-mile distance in 1:45.49, completing the final furlong in 5.88 seconds. In her lone previous effort, a turf event at Saratoga on August 27 that has produced two other next-out winners, Parting Words finished fourth after racing three wide on both turns. "She broke a little slow and got hung wide the entire way, and it was hard to judge her off that," said Tagg. "But apparently her number was pretty good, so we had hopes for her. We had a couple of small setbacks with her and we couldn't get her back into a race. It's been a long stretch between starts, but she proved our feelings today ...

Equestrianism- "Hysteria" | 1900Subscribers! [01:30]
Watch in HD! Well howdy-doosles you varmits! ^^ Just so you know ahead of time, I have Simonella. *gigglesinsanely* It's highly contagious, so I wouldn't watch any of my videos with blue eyed paints if I were you. {Jk-sorta-!} This vidlet's pretty much been my weekend project, seeing as though I have some HUGE news for you guys that's some exciting shizzzzz!!! ^O^ Alright *simmersnerves*, for the past year, starting May of 2009, I have been using a very chopped down little editing program called Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0. Some of you are familiar with it, and know the horrors of only having the icky-tatious 4 layers to work with. It's horrendous- LET ME TELL YOU! OO I, being the creative, spontaneous lunatic that I is/are/am stalked online retailers and such for good buys (because I'm not a very rich person -financially anyhoo-), and finally got Vegas Pro for a nice deal! ^_^ If you noticed, all of my videos only used simpler effects and such in comparison to this one- MOVIE STUDIO SUX!!!!! XP *Notice I don't ever answer questions about software, clips, etc... xD I've never once told anyone that I use Pro (don't judge meh puleeeeez) ^^ Yup, weekend project. Just got Vegas Pro in the last week, but my computer's an old fogey and won't install it vv So I'm currently on my dad's Lapperdoodle flying away at the 3D and masking options I never had. OO It's exciting... oh so exciting........ Muahaha! This is my first full attempt (aside from 8livelovelaughRide8's MEP part ...

Mekong Melody - The Long Island (G3) [02:51]
Mekong Melody took the shortest trip around the track and kicked clear after finding room in the upper stretch to register an impressive victory in the Grade 3, $150000 Long Island Handicap on Saturday at Aqueduct Racetrack. Looking to rebound off a 10th-place finish in the Grade 1 EP Taylor at Woodbine on October 16, Mekong Melody was angled over to the inside by jockey Alex Solis and rated under firm hold in third through a half-mile of 51.73. After falling back to fourth along the backstretch, Mekong Melody continued to wait behind horses on the final turn, found a seam at the top of the lane, and drew away under a drive to prevail by 3 ¾ widening lengths over runner-up Daveron. "I had a great trip," said winning jockey Alex Solis. "I saved all the ground and in the stretch, I got lucky. I got a little opening there and when I asked her, she went through and finished very strong." Mekong Melody, the 7-2 third choice, returned $9.40 for a $2 win wager to her backers in the crowd of 4132 and completed the 1 ½-mile journey in 2:30.74. Owned by David Egan, Mekong Melody has now won four black-type events in her career, including triumphs earlier this year at Woodbine in the Grade 2 Dance Smartly on June 18 and the Flaming Page on September 26. Her trainer, Toronto-based Roger Attfield, has won four other stakes on the NYRA circuit in 2010: the Grade 2 New York on June 19 with Lady Shakespeare, the Grade 2 Lake George on July 28 with Perfect Shirl, the De La Rose on August ...
