Champ Kart Onboard 12/31/12 - Providence / Feature Race [05:17]
Onboard footage of the Champ Kart Feature Race from the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Rhode Island. Tonight on New Year's Eve is the 5th Annual Coffee Cup and Race #2 of the Fatheadz Eyewear Indoor Karting Series. After locking into the Feature Race from the Heat Race, I started 15th out of the 26 karts that started. This race was a wreckfest. When the first caution came out, I nearly ran into Tim in the #15 kart. When another caution came out, I nearly ran into DJ in the #60 kart and was able to avoid him and the other karts that were involved in the accident. After the front runners were retiring from mechanical failues or crashes, I found myself in 6th place. I was having an awesome run and was trying to deliver Katie and Magic a great finish to give as a farewell gift since Puppy in my Pocket: Adventures in Pocketville was coming to an end today and was removed from the air by Boomerang. I had Katie and Magic riding aboard with me to keep me calm and try to have fun racing. The great run sadly came to an end on the final restart. With the leaders bunching up to close to one another, the people behind me were literally crushing my kart. When Nick in the #41 kart was behind me, he was pushing my bumper so hard, that my seat was being compressed. When I tried to accelerate the kart, the kart did not go. I had to stop on track, because I thought something broke in my kart. The offical gives me the thumbs up, which meant that nothing was wrong with the kart. I was able to get ...

Sr. Champ Onboard 10/21/12 - Pomfret / Heat Race [03:37]
Onboard footage of the Sr. Champ Heat Race from Pomfret Speedway in Connecticut. Today is the Fright Fest. I started 3rd for the Heat Race and was able to move into 2nd past Josh, the President of the Tri-State Kart Club, in the #29 kart and literally stay glued to Brandon's bumper on the #62 kart. After a few laps, the kart got tight and I started to slow down. I lost 2nd to Glen, who normally drives the #4 kart, in the #15x kart and in the end I finishd 3rd. The track was like a cheese grater. The yellow letter Vega tires I had on, were used up pretty good. There was a lot of rubber build-up on the inside of the tire. The cause of me getting tight could have been from the rubber build-up. I would start 6th for the Feature Race later on, since we were split into two groups. I raced in the second group.
