He finished second in the Welsh Point to Point Grand National at Bonvilston on Gouranga Society at 20/1 which Eliza writes about on her latest blog. Paul's enthusiasm for horses and a sport fairly new to him is evident in the interview; which was conducted at the Bush Inn at St.Hilary the week after the race.

A popular winner of the day at Bonvilston pt to pt near Cardiff was 'Traditional Bells' who was ridden by Evan David to win the maiden . All the winners at Bonvilston receive a trophy of a fine art print by Eliza's artist partnwer David Dent. In addition there is a cup from the race sponsor; plus champagne. So even though it is an amateur sport; it is nice for the winner to have something by which to remember the day their horse won its first race....
