Only Forego, who won the 1976 Woodward in 1:45 4/5 carrying 135 pounds, Dispersal, who carried 123 and won the 1990 Woodward in 1:45 4/5; and Precisionist, who won the 1986 Woodward in 1:46, have run this race faster. Precisionist, Mineshaft and Ghostzapper all carried 126 pounds in their Woodwards.
