||:Horse Racing Steeplechasing:|| The Greats [01:29]
HD is your friend :D Had to re-upload this :| Anyways yeah the first half is just about jump racing in general, and the last part is about, IMO the three greatest characters of national hunt racing around at the moment-Denman and Kauto Star, both two of the greatest steeplechasers of all time, and Tony Mccoy, simply a legend of the game and the greatest jump jockey there's probably ever been. I know it's crap but enjoy :)

Sorry for another crappy video, but I heard this instrumental and thought it was perfect for steeplechasing and I couldn't resist making a video to it xD Soo yeah just some clips about the greatness of horse racing, specifically national hunt racing (hence the title) The second half is about the 3 (imo) greatest characters and performances in jump racing in the last three years-Denman, Kauto Star and Tony Mccoy. I could easily have added more but he music's too short xD Hope you enjoy I OWN NOTHING

Ballads of the Turf Book Video [02:01]
If ever there was a racing book that totally reflects the romantic era of life on the backstretches of North America's racetracks, it is Thoroughbred horse racing's Ballads of the Turf by author William Galvin. Now in its third printing, Ballads of the Turf has captured in its witty, poetic verse, delightful, rollicking ballads that rhyme with an engaging rhythm, galloping along as they tell of the real life escapades of Damon Runyonesque-type characters... those of a horse-racing brotherhood seduced by dreams of racing glory, and kept forever in its grip by the magic and appeal of the backstretch. Widely acclaimed by a Who's Who of the horse racing world, and with kudos from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, this treasury of tales from an another era of horse racing is revived in magnificent detail by the author, who lived among the unforgettable, colorful characters who populate his ballads.
