Exercising racehorses is one of the most exciting things I have ever done but it is also one of the most dangerous. I was filming one of our horses, Santa Strega (yellow blinkers with jockey Amanda Tamburello up), working out of the gates a half mile with another horse. Everything was going fine until the rider lost a stirrup coming through the turn.
