بمشاركة صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي رعاه الله، توج سمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم ولي عهد دبي بطلاً للجولة الأولى من سباق عمالقة القدرة، فيما أهدى سلطان البلوشي اسطبلات الريف كأس اليوم الوطني للقدرة، وقد أقيم السباقان أمس على ميادين قرية الإمارات العالمية للقدرة بالوثبة بتوجيهات سمو الشيخ منصور بن زايد آل نهيان نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير شؤون الرئاسة حضر السباق سمو الشيخ حمدان بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب حاكم دبي وزير المالية، وسمو الشيخ منصور بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، وشارك في الجولة الأولى للعمالقة لمسافة 120 كم 49 فارساً تقدمهم صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم وسمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم وسمو الشيخ ماجد بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم وسمو الشيخ منصور بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم والشيخ ناصر بن حمد آل خليفة والشيخ خالد بن حمد آل خليفة نجلا ملك البحرين.أما في سباق كأس اليوم الوطني للقدرة فقد شارك 125 فارساً وفارسة، وبلغت القيمة الإجمالية للفائزين 300 ألف درهم، إضافة إلى سيارة للبطل، وتميز السباقان بالقوة والإثارة على مدار الجولات الخمس لكل سباق
