Interesting Kentucky Derby story... I was at a bar called the Green Room in Philadelphia watching the Derby. The bartender and some people at the bar asked me to announce the race, and so they turned the volume down on the TVs and had me commentate. The bartender took this video of the end of the race. I was actually quite pleased with my call announcing twenty horses off a TV in a bar. Before the race I approached the bartender with an empty beer glass saying, "I'll Have Another." She poured me another drink but refused to book my bet! I'm looking forward to returning to Arapahoe Park outside Denver starting at the end of this month. I will resist the temptation to call the races from a bar at the track.

Double Stitch Hancock [00:26]
Nine year old AQHA gelding--registered blue roan but is actually gray. Running 3D times with sporadic hauling due to owner being away at college. Should make a solid 2D horse. Easy to ride and quiet in the alley, would be suitable for a youth step-up horse. Stitch is more of a push-style horse but is NOT a barrel crasher. Currently runs in a draw bit and loose tiedown. He has also been played with on poles and has been hauled to rodeos, ridden in the grand entry, and tracked cattle out of the arena. He loads easily, hauls well, and has overnighted tied to the trailer with no problems. Eats and drink on the road. He has good feet and is barefoot at the moment, but has been shod before with no problems. Asking $5000 or may consider trade for a papered well-broke prospect or started horse age 4-6. If inquiring about a trade, please include pics, pedigree, and video (if you have one) of your horse.
