Billy - The third ride [03:12]
Hi everyone! So Billy is back in action again! I gave him the week off as he was a bit off colour from being kicked in the field, and the poor thing's feeties were a bit tender from being quite overdue for a trim. Been doing a bit of groundwork with the boy, starting to do a bit of lunging in the roundyard as we're not entirely sure of doing it on a lunge line as of yet, lol. You will notice there's quite a bit of work done in the walk in this video, sorry if it's a bit bland to watch, but that's what we do at home so you may as well see it in my videos! Most of the ride was done in the walk, lots of halt transitions in there, and once we had that down pat without a fuss we had a play in the trot and a brief canter just to see what he'd do! This week will be a lunging bootcamp week to try and get him a bit more balanced to improve the ridden flat work, and to muscle him up a bit too. I'll just touch on a couple of things, following my last video I got a TON of emails asking questions, so here are the main couple of things addressed! You will notice my hands are quite wide and I don't have a heap of contact. Looseish contact is because I'm more concerned with him moving freely forward, rather than jamming him into an outline. In my opinion it is better to have them forward and soft then in a frame and not going anywhere. Anyone can jam a horse up to try and make it look 'pretty'. I would rather have them working properly. OTTB - Jumping Lofty for the first time [03:43]
Please don't delete this video or the song you tube, I do not claim copyright on the song! Hey everyone, hope you're all well! So as it says in the title, this was my first jump on my new ottb Lofty! Still working out where all the stop and go buttons are, but we will get there! He was lazy to start with, then was a bit too full on, but we found a happy medium towards the end, lol. Going to have another jump this week, have mostly just been flatting and continuing with the ground work. Enjoy! Luv Katie xx

Sir Lofty - A New Chapter [03:44]
*Music is not mine* Okay this is my SIXTH attempt of uploading this video! Please, please, pleeeaaaaase don't delete it you tube! This is my new boy Lofty. I drove 5 hours last Monday to try him out, and decided I would take him! We had a bit of drama trying to get a truck to bring him home, so last Sunday we went back up there to trailer him home, and after a bit of an interesting journey home he has been settling in and getting to know our place and the other horses. He's an off the track Thoroughbred, surprise, surprise, lol. He's a 17hh, 6 year old gelding. Watch this space! :) xx

Toby Pony - Dec 10th [03:17]
Doing a bit of flatwork with the Toby Pony. He did alright today considering it was blowing a gale!!! Hahaha :) I think I'm starting to figure out how to ride him, not perfect, but getting there! He's getting a bit more consistent on the flat, havent done much canter work, the ground is really slippery as we've had heave rain every other day, so as soon as it firms up going to be doing much more canter work, and possibly a bit more jumping too. The little crossrail and poles was just for a little bit of fun, and gives them a little something to think about I recon :) For everyone that's been messaging me - he's rising 7, 16hh, TB, and has been off the track for just under a year I think, but the only ridden work he's done has been with me, and we've had about 5 rides so far. Please leave me a comment, thumbs up and sub! I absolutely love reading all my comments every time I log into youtube, so thanks everyone!
