1987 Dwyer Stakes [03:07]
Gone West, who floundered while trying to provide Woody Stephens with his sixth straight Belmont Stakes winner last month, won back his national prominence yesterday with a 12 1/2-length triumph over Pledge Card and Polish Navy in the $230400 Dwyer Stakes at Belmont Park.
