Worlds Best Race Horse Black Caviar steps out in style at Sandown [00:28]
Black Caviar took her most positive step so far towards a return to racing with a surprise first public appearance for the year at Sandown on Tuesday morning. The unbeaten mare contested a jump-out, her first piece of serious racetrack competition since her famous Royal Ascot victory in June. Sitting deep from the start of the 800m contest, Black Caviar domimated the jump-out from the home turn as she put a space between herself and her rivals. "It was just a soft half-mile jump-out and I'm very happy with her," trainer Peter Moody told AAP. "Like a pig in mud. "It was a great opportunity to have a little trip away on a great surface." The Sandown excursion confirmed Black Caviar is making excellent progress as he prepares for an exhibition gallop between races on her home track at Caulfield on February 2. It's likely to be her final public appearance at the track. Black Caviar is scheduled to make her racing return in the $500000 Group One Lightning Stakes at Flemington on February 16. "That's the race we've always suggested will be the race she kicks off in," Moody said. A farewell campaign for the $6.8 million earner is expected to take in races in Sydney and Brisbane. Black Caviar took her record to 22 wins from 22 starts when she overcame muscle tears and bruising to win the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot. This Video is in the Public Domain.
Inherently's maiden win at Turfway Park 1-18-13 [01:34]
Inherently, a 4yr old gelding by Dehere, made his debut Friday, Jan 18th and won! He beat some nice horses-the favorite, #5 Steel Guitar, is a half brother to Breeder's Cup winner, Midnight Lute, and another runner, #10 Strong Government, actually was already a winner in his last start but got disqualified for rider interference. Jockey Amanda Tamberullo did an excellent job preparing this horse in his morning workouts as well as rating him perfectly in the race. I sure would like to post more winning videos of this guy in the future!

CIVIS ROMANUS looked excellent in his recent 3 furlong breeze in Lexington, KY at the training center. He showed a lot of class on the rail and in company and was never asked fully nor let go completely. His Dream Team Racing Stable partners will have some fun with this Roman Ruler colt as he continues to move forward.
Malcolm Tuttle 2007 EI breaking news [01:53]
In late 2007, Queensland's thoroughbred horse racing industry was thrown into chaos. Malcolm Tuttle, recently departed CEO of Racing Queensland, did an excellent job of not only handling all the media but the massive effort of co-ordinating the immunizing of horses.
