[READ DESCRIPTION] Can't sleep, started this at 11:00pm and finished around 3:30am. Now I'm probably going to spend a good 30 minutes writing a somewhat meaningful description. Well... Where to start... I had a pretty good breakdown before I started making this video. I thought about... how I'm poor... we can't afford much... one lesson a week isn't helping me enough... so many people think I'm a horrible rider... so many people put me down... I have ten times more bad days than good... I fear I'll never be a good rider... I'll never amount to anything... ect. Constantly people are putting my down. They say I can't ride. I'll never be good no matter what. Because I'm poor I'm nothing. I'm really starting to believe them. More than anything in life I just want to ride. I wish I could ride everyday, every second of my life. Or at least just be with horses... and learning... Even though this video is only a minute and a half long. I could spend an endless amount of time expressing how I feel. But, I'll never give up on what's important to me. Never. I'll just have to work ten times harder than everyone else around me. I'll work for it. No matter how long it takes. I know I'll get there... someday. Well I think I'm done with this stupid description. I hate writing descriptions... Thanks for reading, ~Ashley

Where to begin.... I've been working on this video since 10th April 2010, a date which sticks in my mind because it was the day that Tony McCoy finally won the Grand National on his 15th attempt. It was wonderful to watch this normally quiet, restrained man visibly rejoice and show his emotion. This reminded me of Mick Kinane's Arc triumph on the great Sea The Stars, the horse that stayed his retirement for one more season, and what a season that turned out to be! This video may not be perfect, but what work of art is? This song leapt out at me because having spoken to, heard and seen winning jockeys the overriding feeling I get is that, if only for a moment, as they cross that finish line they are on top of the world; they are invincible. I've tried my best to bottle that feeling and put it into my favourite format -- video. So apologies for the long, waffling description, I promise there will be cyber-pie (approved by Dean Winchester) for those who got this far, but I just wanted to give a background to the most epic (in scale, I'm not blowing my own trumpet) video I've made to date. The knowledge that just a few people may be touched by this video kept me going through the hours of tedious masking (frame after gorramm frame), chroma keying, colour correcting and the endless previews I rendered and forced my friends & family to watch. Your comments make it worthwhile, because in my opinion the response from others is what defines 'art'. NOW GO AND WATCH SUPERNTURAL. ALL ...
