Disposablepleasure overcame a calamitous start, an eventful trip and a desperate late surge from Wildcat's Smile to win Saturday's 90th running of the Grade 2, $200000 Demoiselle at Aqueduct Racetrack by a nose. Stumbling as she came out of the starting gate, Disposablepleasure spotted the field a dozen lengths as she trailed Wee Party through an opening quarter-mile in 23.85 and a half in 48.31. Disposablepleasure completed 1 1/8 miles in 1:53.10 as a claim of foul from the rider of the third-place finisher, Bourbonstreetgirl, against her was disallowed.
