Tony McCoy:|| 'I'll Keep Dreaming':|| [03:16]
Please read? I DO NOT OWN THE FOOTAGE USED, NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. MADE FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY 'I spend most of my life dreaming so, I'll keep dreaming' You'll have to excuse this crappy excuse for a video xD I was running low on inspiration, but I love this song and I thought it was time to make a tribute to my favourite jockey, Tony McCoy. The video focuses on some of his major wins, such as the Gold Cup, Champion Hurdle etc and also his 2010 Grand National victory on Don't Push It. With over 3000 winners and the most wins in a season than any other jockey, he is in my opinion, the greatest jump jockey there's been. And sorry about the sucky quality-the rendering was horrendous. Some of the voiceovers are quite hard to hear, so here they are in order 'He is the jockey of our generation, he has set the standard for everybody to try and rise to' 'He's won everything, every major race, smashed every record...' 'Is this to be the year Tony McCoy breaks his hoodoo? He rides Don't Push It in third place' 'He's unique, he's simply the best' 'And Mr Mulligan is going to win a famous victory for Tony McCoy, Mr Mulligan wins the gold cup! 'Wichita Lineman Flying! As they hit the line, he got there! Tony McCoy got him home! Wichita Lineman, a brilliant ride!' 'Binocular and Tony McCoy win the champion hurdle!' 'I never thought that when I was in Ireland that I'd get a thousand rides, never mind a thousand winners' 'History is made, McCoy, 3000 winners, the ...

1994 Travers Stakes - Holy Bull [02:11]
The Bull outran the Cat and the rabbit and everybody else today when he won the 125th Travers Stakes by a neck over Concern and took his longest strides on the road to the championship of racing's 3-year-old division. It was a smashing performance by Holy Bull, who withstood a furious closing rush by Concern, the winner of the Arkansas Derby, and won for the 11th time in 13 starts. And then it was 17 lengths of daylight back to Tabasco Cat, the winner of the Preakness and Belmont and the archrival to Holy Bull for the season's honors. "He did it the hard way," said Jimmy Croll, who inherited Holy Bull one year ago and now owns and trains him. "It showed he's all heart." Then he aimed at the skeptics who had insinuated that his Bull was a speed horse miscast as a superstar, and said: "They thought he didn't have the breeding to go a mile and a quarter. They said he couldn't go around two turns. They thought he could win only on the lead. They had a rabbit up front and a closing horse chasing him at the end of a mile and a quarter. Well, he did what he had to do. He answered all the questions." He also answered the question posed this week by D. Wayne Lukas, the trainer of Tabasco Cat, who said: "Look at Holy Bull's record under a microscope. Who was second when he won the Dwyer? Nobody can tell you." Maybe not, but Croll could tell you who ran third behind Holy Bull today, and he said dryly, "Wayne better get a new microscope." This was an adventure for Holy Bull, the ...

Lake & Ludlow 4.29.11.avi [02:46]
Lake and Ludlow ran a closing 5th in the 9th race today, Opening Day at Beautiful Belmont Park. He broke very sharply with the pack and rushed himself up into contention before he realized what was going on. The Jock said he was taken by surprise by all the action and just ran. Once "the Rocket" got a hold of him he got L&L to relax behind horses and save some run for the stretch. He did end up closing nicely passing horses in the stretch and got a 5th for his first time out. The positive thing is he was in contention at the beginning of the race, dropped back and then closed at the end against open horses many of them multiple starters. The yielding turf tired him out but he handled the turf very well. With a bit longer race and a firm course Bruce is confident that we will get the Big Prize with this horse. We had a great crowd and everybody had a good time! Thanks for all your support and patience, it was surely worth it!

Jockey Fight!-Calvin Borel and Javier Castellano in Fight at Churchill Downs [01:40]
Jockeys Calvin Borel and Javier Castellano turned the winner's circle at Churchill Downs into an impromptu boxing ring, trading punches moments after the opening race of the Breeders' Cup on Friday afternoon. Borel charged Castellano shortly after the $500000 Breeders' Cup Marathon, angry over a dangerous mid-race move that endangered Borel and fellow rider Martin Garcia. The two jockeys were near the weigh-in station next to the winner's circle when things grew heated. The 43-year-old Borel pointed a finger at the 33-year-old Castellano. The 5-foot-1, 110-pound Castellano then took a swing at Borel, four inches taller than his rival. Security officials struggled to separate the two, holding an enraged Borel who urged them to let him go back at Castellano. It took several minutes for Borel—his eyes bugging out and his face a deep shade of red—to be restrained. In an interview with ESPN as he rode out for the Juvenile Fillies race, Borel said he and Castellano had patched things up. "I want to apologize to everybody," Borel said as he was interviewed aboard Tell A Kelly. "It's over. It's all good. We talked." Borel was escorted to the paddock by eight security officers for that race. A fan shouted, "Kick some (butt), Calvin."

Franny Freud - The Prioress (G1) [01:28]
Franny Freud kept her winning streak intact and picked up her first Grade 1 victory in the 63rd running of the $250000 Prioress Sunday afternoon at Belmont Park. As Stormandaprayer led the field through blistering early fractions of 21.85 and 44.97, closely pursued by Champagne d'Oro and Bonnie Blue Flag, Franny Freud remained outside of the fray in fourth. Making a three-wide move turning for home, she took the lead into the stretch and hit the wire 1 ¾ lengths in front of Champagne d'Oro. Her final time for the six furlongs was 1:10.11. "She's just all horse," said winning jockey Garrett Gomez. "She's a little bitty thing, but she gives 120 percent. As for how far she'll go, she just keeps answering questions for everybody, including her fans." It was the fourth consecutive win for the New York-bred daughter of Freud, who is owned by Paul Pompa, Jr., Stephen Yarbrough, and Winter Park Partners. She has now earned $686029 with a record of 8-2-0 from 11 lifetime starts.
