Roger @ Oakwood freshmans show jumping June [04:24]
**Music is not mine** Hey everyone, hope you're all well! We took the boy out last weekend (I know I've been super slack in the video department) and did a few rounds of freshmans jumping. We got three out of three clears and came home with ribbons, so absolutely stoked with him :) I know the jumps are little, but it's only our second time out together and it was just a fun day, not a comp! Have a few comps lined up over the next couple of months including some showing, both led and ridden, which should be good fun. This horse is turning out to be an absolute superstar. Did some sensational flatwork the other day, so going to get some more of that happening, get him registered and get some more comps under his belt. Okay , this a VERRRRRY long video from PC SJ rally with Marie Ryan , with my Hannah and Lucyloooo ;) haha. This was probably the most technical thing joey has jumped HE HATES SKINNIES! So he did very well . Watching it back it looks better than what it felt and Im very pleased with my man . He is veryy tricky so no crit people . Oh and the fall , I went to jump was in the ZONE and i suddenly heard dont jump and i was like whaaat ! Pulled him out he went one way i went another , I got so much Sand in the face!! this video is a little late, but i thought it would be nice. the editing isn't so good but the video means a lot to me. i would have owned boycie a year if i still owned him but sadly i don't. although it was my decision to send him back to his previous owner i still really miss him because he was such a lovely quiet horse. he tought me alot, but things just weren't working out& i don't think they ever would. he just wasn't the right horse for me. thankyou for watching.

Ex race horse Toby - Flatwork Dec [03:52]
Hey hey! This was from like, a week ago, just been slack putting it up! Just a bit of flat work with the Toby pony, main aim at the moment is suppling him up (if that is even a word? You get what I mean anyway! :P ) and getting him to go in a steadier rhythm, rather than worrying about jumping. Most of the ride from that day was done at a walk - at least the first half hour, did a bit of long and low, taught him a bit of leg yielding which he got the hang of pretty well I thought. Trying to get him out of the mind frame of just because I put my leg on, doesn't mean we go 100 miles an hour, lol :) Most of the trotting footage we caught was on the right rein, he seems to not be flexing so easily on the side, so did quite a bit of work in the trot and canter too. Anyways, I won't bore you with too much blabbering on, just thought I would clear that up before I have 100 people at me that I should ride both ways etc etc... Just because it is not on camera, does not mean we didn't do it! :) No crit on my riding, concentrating more on his way of going, rather than how I look, for the moment anyway. Toby Pony - Dec 10th [03:17]
Doing a bit of flatwork with the Toby Pony. He did alright today considering it was blowing a gale!!! Hahaha :) I think I'm starting to figure out how to ride him, not perfect, but getting there! He's getting a bit more consistent on the flat, havent done much canter work, the ground is really slippery as we've had heave rain every other day, so as soon as it firms up going to be doing much more canter work, and possibly a bit more jumping too. The little crossrail and poles was just for a little bit of fun, and gives them a little something to think about I recon :) For everyone that's been messaging me - he's rising 7, 16hh, TB, and has been off the track for just under a year I think, but the only ridden work he's done has been with me, and we've had about 5 rides so far.
