Race Horse Tribute [03:39]
I made this video pretty quickly just a test but also a tribute to horse racing, please enjoy. The first part of the video is where I did all the fancy stuff to the images- The end of the video has a long list of many familiar faces I did no fancy animation on them so you can see there image the way they originally are. I can't put all great race champions in this video but then they all are race champions, every one of them. Please watch in High quality- it is all photos but I did my best :) this is my first video by the way so please don't be to hard on me-

WYPR Down the Stretch -- The Preakness [03:41]
With another Preakness upon us, thoroughbred horseracing takes center stage at Pimlico and across the state. But after the race is over, Maryland's horseracing industry faces long odds and questions about its future. Horse owners find it increasingly hard to make a living in Maryland, with more racing dates and greater purses being offered in neighboring states. Breeders are turning more and more to diversification to make ends meet. And bettors make their wages in parlors for simulcasts from other venues. Could racing disappear in the future? WYPR takes a look at the state of horseracing with a five-part radio series, "Down The Stretch: The Future of Maryland's Horseracing Future," starting Monday during "Morning Edition" on 88-1, WYPR -- your NPR news station. In day five of the week-long series, WYPR reporter Karen Hosler examines the state of the industry. Video produced by Jerry Bembry.
