Halo Cat Regains the Winning Thread in the 2003 Montclair at Golden Gate Fields [01:50]
Halo Cat, who followed his victory in the Albany Handicap with runner-up efforts in the Oakland and Lafayette handicaps, returned to the winner's circle with a three-length victory in the Montclair Handicap. Ridden by Russell Baze for Jerry Hollendorfer in the Montclair, Halo Cat tracked the fast pace set by Our Magistrate and Oakland winner El Dorado Shooter and blew by his fatigued foes at the top of the stretch.
