This made trainer Bob Baffert a winner with his first starter in the Gold Cup and left Real Quiet, who needed every bit of the 10 furlongs to win for the sixth time in 20 starts, unbeaten in four tries at the distance. Bad Run, I just tweaked her training program with some new exercises a week ago. We still placed 2nd in the 2D to win some money but as you can see, she's less than responsive to the bit. I am working on keeping her ribcage bent when I ask for it and getting her cliding smoothly while staying shaped and bent for her turns. She did alright given the new cues and feeling I put on her.
