El Gran Senor- The 1984 2000 Guineas Stakes (Newmarket) [02:05]
El Gran Senor (1981--2006) was an American-bred Thoroughbred race horse, foaled at Windfields Farm in Maryland. An outstanding two-year-old who won European classics over a mile and over 12 furlongs, El Gran Senor received a Timeform rated 136. He also enjoyed notable success at stud, had been pensioned at Ashford Stud in Kentucky since 2000, and was 25 years old when he died on October 18, 2006. here is El Gran Senor winning the 1984 2000 Guineas Stakes at Newmarket. The jockey on the day was Pat Eddery. El Gran Senor was trained by Vincent O'Brien and owned by Robert Sangster.

Golden Gate Fields Year of the Dragon Celebration [09:38]
Golden Gate Fields celebrated the Lunar New Year on February 26 with the Year of the Dragon Celebration. This video starts with a performance of Chinese dance by the Flying Angels, followed by race1 at a mile and a sixteenth and is topped off by Sam Spear interviewing the now retired jockey Laffit Pincay Jr. past holder of the title "Worlds Winn-ingest Jockey". Russell Baze, current holder of the title, joins them at the end.
