Horse racing oddity: jockey misjudges distance [03:22]
This race on May 16, 2004 is very entertaining. The Hasta la Vista Handicap at Turf Paradise in Arizona is run at what today is an unusually long distance of 1 7/8 miles. This requires two full circuits of the course, rather than the usual one time around in most races. Unfortunately for jockey Jorge Carreno, he forgets that minor detail, creating a very unusual sitation.

April Showers Cannock Chase Monkey Trail Lower Cliff Santa Cruz v10 Riding cannock chase inbetween april showers, on the day it would pour it down with rain, dry out and then instantly pour it down with rain again! Conditions werent as bad as usual wet conditions in the uk as it was a warmish day and the rain was drying before the ground had chance to soak in the moisture. Bikes on the day were a santa cruz v10 and a morewood kalula. I ride very slowly in the videos due to the fact that i am awaiting a shoulder operation to stop my arm dislocating!
