I was at Ascot to see this mighty champion run his last race. In winning the Champion Stakes, he thrashed the second highest rated horse in the world, Cirrus De Aigles and 4th highest rated, Nathaniel. IMO he is the greatest we've seen and it's a privilege to have seen him in the flesh. He retires unbeaten in 14 races, winning by an aggregate of over 70 lengths. No one came close to beating him and he did so much much for his trainer, Sir Henry Cecil who is battling cancer. I will never forget this horse and what he and his legacy will and have done for British racing. Thank you Frankel, if any of your foals are are half as good as you then we are in for a treat.
