Civics Java Classic [09:08]
The Civics - Java Classic horse shown here is a three year old thoroughbred gelding. He has been gifted to me and this video was made to show his breeder where he now lives. Hopefully he will follow in the footsteps of Captain Court and develop into a high class racehorse. Captain Court is the bold chestnut horse with the white half blaze on his nose. The other two horses are a Masterclass gelding who never won a race and a chestnut mare by Moon Spirit (in the bright blue cover) who is not moving freely due to a recent bad bout of laminitis. The property is in Avondale, Auckland City, New Zealand. It is 10km from the city centre. The person you see and hear on the video is my next door neighbour Rick who helps me look after my horses.

Angel Gift repeats in 2003 Golden Poppy at Bay Meadows [02:48]
Angel Gift won two stakes in her career, and they came in consecutive renewals of the Golden Poppy Handicap at Bay Meadows. Here's the video of her winning the 2003 running with Russell Baze aboard for trainer Patrick Gallagher.
