After a brief summary of Kindle's early career, featuring wins at Golden Gate Fields, Hollywood Park, and Fairplex Park, the film documents the decision to enter the Monrovia Stakes to compete against Mizdirection, winner of the 2012 Breeders Cup Sprint. The Monrovia Stakes is a Grade 2, $150000, six and one half furlongs race on the down hill turf course at Santa Anita.
