Kid Blast ran a gutsy, throat soaring, jump up and down while screaming your head off, 2nd in the 6th race on Sunday, November 20th, at Aqueduct. In a sprint breaking from the 10 hole, getting bumped coming out of the gate, closing on a dead speed favoring track, while running 4 wide and a bit green, he came within a neck of winning it! He is awesome! He will get a lot out of this race and a very good education. We were all very proud of him, in the paddock he was calm as well as when he was waiting to be loaded in the gate. He is huge and a very powerful horse who will be very even money in his next start.

Tim Vaughan is enjoying another great season and one of his owners Eira tells Eliza about one of Tim's stable stars: the 2011 Scottish National winner Beshabar who is popular with all the owners at the yard. While not doubting his class and guts, he is perhaps not the prettiest horse and can be a bit of a character; Eira explains how she gets on his good side when visiting the yard with polo mints!

Rewilding Tribute ~ Hymn to Hope [01:05]
Absolutely gutted that it ended the way it did for this horse, but thought it would be nice to remember the horse at his best, winning the St James' Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot. One of the highlights of the racing year without a doubt. This isn't very good, and I didn't have many clips availabe, but wanted to make something in recognition of this beautiful, gutsy horse. Also, apologies for the poor quality in some places, but couldn't find many HD clips. I don't own any of the clips, commentary or music. Please, no nasty comments about racing, this is just a video for people to rememer the horse by. Also, don't bother commenting about whip use (FD was banned for 10 days for his use of the whip at Ascot, but even though he used it with excessive frequency that doen't mean that he actually abused the horse in any way).
