Barrel Racing 6-20-10 [00:18]
Me and my 6 y/o paint mare 'Brooke' at TVRC on June 20 Not even close to our best run, but I've been working a lot and she's been getting neglected, so I was just happy we didn't knock a barrel. (Also sorry bout the crappy quality and angle)

New York Watch: Gallant Fields [01:54]
With talented 3-year-olds Ice Box, Fly Down, Jackson Bend, Miner's Reserve, and Our Dark Knight in his barn, Nick Zito is poised to make some noise in the second half of 2010. And following today's fourth race at Belmont Park, you can add Gallant Fields to the list of sharp Zito sophomores. Making the second start of his career on a muggy day at Belmont Park, Gallant Fields pressed the pace in the two path through a half in a testing 45.37, then ran away from his rivals under a drive in the stretch to win by a widening 8¼ lengths with Jose Lezcano aboard. "I was very, very happy with [Gallant Fields' performance]," said Zito, who trains the son of Smarty Jones on behalf of Paul Braverman and Suffolk Downs' majority owner Richard Fields. "We take our time with them, and sometimes it works out, and sometimes it doesn't. He's a big horse, and from time to time he had what we call 'interruptions.'"

Up Close at Belmont with Stay Put [01:56]
At Belmont Park, Stay Put went an easy half-mile just after the renovation break under exercise rider Loren Diego, with NYRA clockers catching the chestnut colt in 50.62. "I liked the way he breezed this morning,' said Diego, who is supervising Stay Put's Belmont preparations until trainer Steve Margolis arrives Monday evening. "The main thing is to keep him happy, keep him fresh. I think he's been handling the track well since he's been here." Winner of an optional claimer at Churchill Downs on Derby Day, Stay Put arrived at Belmont Park on Thursday, galloping over the main track twice prior to Sunday's move. According to Diego, Stay Put will jog a mile on Monday, walk or jog on Tuesday, and gallop into the race. "I think a mile-and-a-half suits him," said Diego. "It's going to help him because he comes from off the pace."

Kentucky Derby Preview [01:14]
This is my Derby preview and honestly, I really wasn't happy with it, so critic harshly, I don't even care. Are you as bummed as me Eskendreya won't be in the Derby??!?!?! Gr, I didn't even want him but he still was an amazing horse and I'm tired of horses being injured. Can it just stop???? Kay, thanks. I know I forgot a few horses, like Awesome Act and (possibly) Rule, but guys, honestly, there were so many longshots this year I couldn't remember all of them. Sorry if they were your picks (and I know Rule and Awesome Act aren't really longshots, I could see them winning) Last Samurai-Pirates of the Caribbean. I DO NOT OWN THESE CLIPS OR THIS SONG OR THE KENTUCKY DERBY (sadly) NO COPYRIGHT INTENDED.
