Training Update - JUMP ON THE JETTY - Wednesday 8 August [02:34]
First Light Racing's racehorse Jump On The Jetty galloped nicely at track work this morning at Caulfield as trainer Luke Oliver prepares him for his next start and hopefully a break through win for his owners.

Went riding the Tuesday that has just gone and thankfully the weather stayed nice for us. :DI rode Amo as usual but I also had a short trot on Blue; the pony my mum rides! She feels sooo different from Amo, plus, I feel so close to the ground! Ahh! And I may just get to ride her next lesson so fingers crossed! While I had a little ride on Blue, of course my mum needed another horse to ride for the time being. Soooo....she rode Amo! (although we didn't get ANY of this on camera since my grandad wandered off back to the car, haha) And of course, like everyone else I know, mum fell in love with her and has asked to ride her next lesson. So, basically we've swapped horses at the moment so I'm just gonna give you this heads up on who's riding who. :D Me and Amo also had a quick "Jockey Time" around the arena which we enjoyed very much. If you don't know what "Jockey Time" is then don't hesitate to ask. :D I'll be riding again on the 3rd of July (it feels so long away!) but hopefully the weather will continue to stay nice (its been on and off all week). Wildhorse Creek Park BMX Race [13 Intermediate MAIN EVENT] (6/19/12) [01:16]
Well today I had a GREAT gate start on a TERRIBLE gate but managed to pull off the holeshot. In the first turn I lost it to my good friend Hunter Parrish and going down the second straight I wanted to get the lead back SO bad so I decided to try a high low. My intention was NOT to wreck Hunter or myself... It was to just scare him off and hopefully get the win. It's unfortunate that both of us crashed but hey, rubbins racing... Congrats to Christopher Delay on the win and let's go get them next time!!!
