I'm undefeatable, I'm the champion [01:48]
This is what I get up to when my netball game is washed out. Thought I'd throw a few clips together with this song which has been hanging around my song library. Mind you, these are only the horses I had clips of, I could have loaded in WAAAY more if I wasn't so lazy. This is just me being pumped for spring carnival :D They're mostly Aussie horses, but I thought I might as well have Frankel there too. :3 The Horses (in order of first appearance): Frankel Black Caviar Media Puzzle Lonhro Sunline Makybe Diva Americain So You Think Apache Cat Zipping Northerly

Daddy Running Cruiser In the 1st Anual Dash Of Dad's Charity Calcutta [01:17]
The Chambers County Saddle Club, in Lafayette AL, Hosted the 1st Anual Dash of Dads Charity Calcutta Barrel Race July 2012. We had sponosors donate money for a jackpot then each dad was auctioned off to the highest bidder, that money was in turn added to the jackpot. Most of the dads are not familar with barrel racing, but have kids, wives, of family members that do. Each Dad rode for a different Charity, and the money they won went to the charity they chose to run for, the person who buys them has the option to keep there half or donate it back. This years winner was Danny Edmondson riding one of his daughters barrel horses, Cruiser. He rode for St, Jude's Childerns Hospital. In turn his daughter bought him in the calcutta and donated her half back to St. Jude as well. I hope to get the rest of the dads runs uploaded soon!

1991 Pacific Classic [04:13]

Because he was a 3-year-old in a field of older horses, Best Pal carried eight pounds less than the others in the 1 1/4-race that was expected to establish the horse of the year. Instead, Best Pal's victory complicated the issue, with Farma Way, the 3-2 favorite, running fifth after leading until the quarter pole, and Festin, his late-running archrival in four other races, ending up fourth. Best Pal was bred and is raced by John and Betty Mabee, San Diegans who have been part of the Del Mar family for more than 20 years. John Mabee is chairman of the board at the track and was one of the forces behind creation of the Pacific Classic. "This horse is the public's choice," Mabee said after Best Pal's $550000 payday. "We just wanted to run a horse in this race that wouldn't disgrace us. I thought he was better coming into this race than the press gave him credit for, but maybe this was just owner prejudice. "There's no question that he's got a fan base. He would have been 15-1 instead of 9-2 if they had paid attention to the handicappers in the papers." Twilight Agenda, Farma Way's stablemate from trainer Wayne Lukas' barn, took the lead from Farma Way heading into the stretch but finished second, 2 3/4 ...
